we are a Community Interest Company (CIC) representing the businesses, residents, and landlords of Redchurch Street and its surrounding areas in Shoreditch, East London. our collective is driven by a shared passion for preserving the vibrant culture of this unique corner of the city.

about us

our little patch of Shoreditch is bursting with character and history. from challenging beginnings as part of the Old Nichol slum in the 1880s, to becoming home to London’s very first planned social housing at the Boundary Estate (still standing tall today), to becoming a trendy epicentre of fashion and design in the 1990s when Sarah Lucas and Tracey Emin set up The Shop… it’s been a journey.

we’re passionate about preserving that heritage and catering to the diverse needs of our varied community. whether you're a long-time local, an up-and-coming fashion retailer, running a buzzing café, visiting the mosque, an office worker designing ad campaigns, or bringing creative energy to our multicultural arts centre – we’re here to make sure everyone feels right at home.

at the heart of it all, we believe in the power of collaboration. by working together, we can make this corner of East London a better place to live, work, and explore – for everyone.
